so, did i mention that we live on a hill overlooking a 90 degree turn in the road where cars tend to ignore the 15mph speed limit?  solution: first order of business was to build a fence, preventing our littlest family members from tumbling to an ugly demise.

the front of the house has nothing to do with a fence, but someone asked me for more pictures...

not sure why this picture is sideways, but this is tate(formerly tater tot).  he is our new dog.  he is a very obedient/overly protective of the boys(good thing) 11 month old blue heeler who has nipped at a few people hard enough to be considered a bite(bad thing).  we need a beware of dog sign for the new gate...
