AWESOME MIRRORS AND PLASTIC SILVER BIRDS. awesome.
they had an estate sale(which means most of the neighbors know how much work we have ahead of us) and what didn't sell got left. too bad we don't want it.
almost all of the windows have boxes on them and blinds and curtains.
looking from the dining room into the kitchen
yes, the washer and dryer were in the kitchen. no, they aren't now.
out the back/kitchen door onto the back porch(smaller, will become a mudroom)
OMG we have so much to do!
pantry off of the kitchen

ancient coffeemaker anyone?
pretty sweet shelf liner... i know...
harry potter coat closet under the stairs
the woodworking of this house is really what got us... and that it's a farmhouse in our price range with character that has good bones/potential...
we're going to keep this chicken.
the windows on the west side of the house have awnings... we're going to see how hot we are this summer before we take them down.
why would you leave this beauty?!
upstairs hallway
the bathroom and kitchen both have awesome marble paneling
there's a window behind that tile :)
future boy room
the bedrooms all have stovepipe outlets and heat exchange vents in the floors
future mama and papa bedroom
future gideon/guest room
she had a back scratcher hung on every level... ya know... for when you can't reach that annoying itch in the middle of your back.
thanks for leaving your bed.
as if ceiling tiles weren't cool enough on their own, they painted stars on them.
gideon's laughing because he won't have to lift a finger
