mississippi trip

"...light is an invitation to happiness, and happiness,
when it's done right, is a kind of holiness,
palpable and redemptive."
-Mary Oliver, Poppies

there's nothing to brighten your mood like finally painting the part of your kitchen that you never got around to finishing 2 years ago.

not to mention your mother's day present finally arriving on your doorstep in all its yellow glory!

and to top the cake off, flowers from Angie... she's a keeper.

in a freakin awesome(and yellow! yes, she is a fellow lover of yellow!!) vintage purse/box

Adam and I went to Mississippi by ourselves last week. We had a lovely time catching up with family(some of whom Adam had only met at our wedding!) and enjoying a little nature. It was amazing to fly on a plane not pregnant and not holding a squirming somebody in my lap.
