my friend bethany asked me if i would be willing to try my hand at making a mei tai sling for her to use for her newborn daughter jenna. she emailed me a pattern and i gave it a try! i am very pleased with the outcome! I added a pocket on the back because i am always in need of them myself and thought it might be useful for bethany as well. The inside of the body and straps is the pink floral fabric(so soft! perfect for jenna) and my boys(secure in their manhood) obligingly tested it out. It was very comfortable and was strong enough for me to carry isaac. i might have to make one for myself!
i think isaac liked it more than ezra...
leftover jambalaya that i inhaled in celebration of finishing the sling+ pinot grigio(yum)

we've been visiting baby emmett whenever we get a chance to get our(my) baby fix...
