april showers bring may flowers...

the warm weather has finally graced us with its presence. the Cherry Blossom Festival was here last weekend and although we didn't go there was plenty of beauty around us to soak up. along with the warm weather there have been quite a few babies born to friends to keep me busy with baby hats and meals. i do so love a handknit hat on a tiny soft noggin. we've been seeding lots of goodness for the garden this year and our neighbors have agreed to let us dig up their bed(which happens to be adjacent to ours and full of grass) and plant there too, which is awesome...

isaac made his first poop in the toilet this week, and there was much rejoicing. that's an uphill battle that we will have to discuss at a later date. ezra also finally started crawling forwards(he's been crawling backwards for 1 1/2 months) this week, so it's been a good week. here's a little bit of goodness and spring color to share with you!

seedlings

i realize these are technically weeds, but i think they're beautiful.

you know when you leave the garden hose in the yard for too long and the clover begins to grow up through it?

i vaguely remember planting these guys 2 years ago and they are just now deciding to grace us with their presence.

sometimes breakfast just needs spicing up a bit.

adam's old work jacket that he decided to upcycle into a messenger bag.

he's actually quite handy with a sewing machine.

our neighborhood is full of these! glorious!

what's a blog post without a little bit of yellow?

awesome.

have a wonderful day!

WAY TO GO, ISAAC!!! Caleb and I are both very proud of you! (Caleb is now running around the house announcing to nobody that Isaac pooped in the potty!) :)
