green without envy

Julie and Amy(you two are awesome) invited me to join them at two different smaller craft shows within the last two weeks. I sold 3 baby hats and 17 chocolate easter bunny popsicles. I realized that it was really tacky to be sloppily scribbling my name and email on scrap paper to give interested customers so i started another blog just for my wares! Introducing(drum roll) Green Without Envy! It's my new baby so bear with me...

Also, this past saturday we took the boys and (dragged) Matt to the Smithsonian Kite Festival. It drizzled rain the whole time and the wind came and went, so technically we did get our bald eagle and stealth fighter kites(awesome if i may say so) to fly, but technically it did suck. We met up with the Sanchezes & company(which made it suck a lot less) so Isaac got some girlfriend time in with Miji. Gerardo made Chilean kites for the kiddos which unfortunately were awesome but made out of paper which did valiant battle against afore-mentioned drizzle but in the end lost.

Matt says the fact the the eagle kept crashing is ironically reflective of the American economy. Also this guy with a huge chinese dragon kite was doing fine.... hmm.

and isaac STILL had fun.
