teaching ezra to read brown bear

baseball hat for caleb

today is one of those days when i should be getting a, b, and c done and instead i'm taking pictures of the boys and little cute things they do/make. isaac also has a girlfriend over for the day, which basically means i have to be on my toes and not trust them for a minute... two two-year olds can create infinitely more damage that one two-year-old. "okay mommy you relax at your doctors appointment!"(she says as her mom drops her off). at least they make me laugh, and at least there's always mr. roger's neighborhood(mr mcfeely is getting married today) for when it gets too crazy!

i've been making a baby quilt for a friend the past two days based on these cute wall decorations i saw in a magazine that i couldn't not incorporate into something! it's actually kinda relaxing and rewarding knowing this re-purposed flannel will have a soft cheek to soothe come june. i do so love soft cheeks...

What is the Easter egg (or some kind of egg) piece? I'm curious. BTW: You got a good pic of blowing out the candles! Caleb loves his hat. He's worn it just about every day (today he wore the striped one). I've been wearing mine the last few days too! Recess duty is NO fun on regular days, much less bitterly cold days...
