i've been away for so long

friends, forgive me for it has been too long since my last post.
i don't know how i've managed to neglect this space for over a month, but i assure you it was not intentional.  Let's see, what haven't i told you?  well for several weeks now i have been doing the baking soda/apple cider vinegar hair washing and i have to say it's not as gross as i thought it would be.  i was pretty greasy the first week, but now i can definitely go 4 days without my hair looking greasy.  pretty cool.  adam has started doing it too.  when the boys run out of shampoo they're next.  still haven't made the deodorant, but it's on the agenda.  amy's potions and concoctions is also good.  got a few new herbs at mom's tonight and tried an eye compress for ezra who has a bit of eye irritation(pollen related).  homeopathy is fun.

had a bunch of lady friends over last night to make stuff and eat sweets.
macarons didn't turn out as great this time, but still good.

miji's birthday party was today.  we made her a ballet tutu and a buddy girl doll(also with tutu).  i think they were a hit.  she's been sleeping with her and has named her miji.

i gotta admit it's pretty fun making girly stuff sometimes.

we have been watching waaay too many ballet videos on youtube and talking a lot about how boys who dance ballet have to be very strong so they don't drop the girls.  we found miji the angelina ballerina book at the thrift store, which sparked all of this.  holly(her mama) found a pattern for crocheted ballet slippers that turned out AWESOME.  she's working on a pair for buddy girl to match.  wish i had a picture to share them, they are darling.

spring is pretty much here.
as i write this these have actually bloomed.  this picture is a few weeks old.  that's what happens when you don't dump the pictures off of your camera for a whole month.
banana bread is still our favorite.  the boys now help me make it.  they also are quite fond of gathering trash and recycling and helping take it out(yay!).

so, ezra turns two on tuesday(i know, whoa).  i am not ready for him to leave babyhood.  i feel like i should have a 7 month old baby right now... i won't start with that...
