at last we have reached the end of our travels...

Today is our second day home in 6 days, and it is a beautiful one. The weather is perfect, making being home that much more enjoyable. We drove to Mississippi for a cousin's wedding and stopped through Chattanooga and Charlotte for visits in between. Hopefully someday the boys will forgive me for 34 hours of driving.

Pete and Jenna make a beautiful couple and it was wonderful to see family and for them to see us. It was also good for me to get in some different experience with improv. Their church's praise music is quite different from what I am used to(not in a bad way!). You can watch the service at www.crossgates.org in the video archives.
Last night we finally(we had to cancel the original plans because he was sick) had Isaac's 2nd birthday party last night at Gravelly Point park so that we could watch the kids squeal with excitement as the planes went over us. It was a beautiful evening and actually quite relaxing as far as birthdays go...
